I qualified as a Chartered Physiotherapist in 1978, having trained at King's College Hospital, London.
I worked in the NHS for 9 years, mainly at Epsom District Hospital, progressing through the grades of increasing responsibility and left my post of Superintendent Physiotherapist in 1987 in order to start a family. Whilst the children were small I developed a home-based private practice.
From 1990-1996 I was physiotherapist to Sutton & Epsom RFC.
In December 1995 I opened The Physiotherapy and Sports Injury Clinic, in South Street Epsom. I closed that in September 2015 and relocated to the Ebbisham Centre, after three very happy years working with “Selkie Pilates and Fitness” I am now moving to two new locations.
I am interested in the treatment of all acute injuries, particularly those which are sports related.
I am a great rugby fan, my son represented England as a junior and played professionally for Harlequins, Newcastle Falcons and Ealing, he now plays for Wimbledon RFC. I also have a daughter, who is a Norland Nanny. They both live locally and we meet frequently for dog walks.
